→ urbanbacklog was started in 2012 as a tumblr page. ever since, it aims to create a visual diary about the details we miss in the cities and shares it with short, emphasizing texts.

→ urbanbacklog creates its own content with its own pictures. all featured photographs on urbanbacklog, belong to urbanbacklog—unless other noted.

→ urbanbacklog does not mention about the trending news. all the posts here are for pointing out to a particular and unique matter.

→ urbanbacklog was started and is run by yagmur ruzgar—an urban planner and editor who likes to discover the cities by their details and diversities.

→ urbanbacklog knows that there are endless things to see and experience in the world and the internet is just not enough.

urbanbacklog is looking for contributors—new perspectives. you don’t have to be a writer, architect or artist. if you’re interested in what you see around you in public spaces (about architecture, urban spaces, street art, function change and urban installations) and would like to "share with people", please send a mail to hello@urbanbacklog.com.
